How does AirPosture work?+
It compares live motion from compatible AirPods with a five-second upright baseline. If your head stays outside the posture range long enough, your Mac plays an alert.
Does it use my camera?+
No. Your webcam can remain covered with the tiny piece of tape you installed in 2017.
Which devices do I need?+
An Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later, plus motion-capable AirPods. The first release is intentionally Mac-only.
Is my motion data private?+
Yes. Motion samples, your baseline, settings, and diagnostic logs stay on your Mac. There is no account, analytics, cloud sync, or advertising. The app checks for updates once a day over HTTPS; that request carries no posture or usage data.
How do I get updates?+
AirPosture checks for updates once a day and installs them with your confirmation. Every update is cryptographically signed and notarized by Apple. Your purchase includes updates released during the first year; after that the app keeps working exactly as it is, it just stops being offered newer releases.
Is this medical advice?+
Absolutely not. It is a tiny posture reminder with a beep. If something hurts, talk to a qualified human with a degree.
Is this a subscription?+
No. AirPosture costs US$17 once. There is no recurring billing, membership, paid community, dashboard subscription, or automatic renewal.
What exactly am I buying?+
A downloadable macOS menu-bar app, licensed for one Apple Silicon Mac. The purchase includes every v0.1 feature and product updates released during the first year.
How do I get the app after paying?+
Creem sends a signed and notarized AirPosture DMG and your license key in the purchase receipt. Open the DMG, drag AirPosture into Applications, and email hey@nerdconf.com from your purchase address if you need help.
Who makes AirPosture?+
AirPosture is a product by NERDOS, a small software product studio that builds standalone digital tools for indie hackers. NERDCONF operates the product and provides customer support.
Who processes the payment?+
Creem acts as merchant of record. It processes the payment, calculates applicable taxes, and issues your invoice. AirPosture remains responsible for the software, delivery, and product support.
How do refunds work?+
Email hey@nerdconf.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Creem returns approved refunds to the original payment method.
